Not all employers are looking for just your degree when they are recruiting, they also want to know about your graduate attributes - skills, qualities and understandings that should be acquired by students during their time at the University regardless of their discipline of study. Your understanding of your graduate attributes and how they are important to your prospective employer can make all the difference when you are writing your job application. Kelly Pfeffer from Queensland Treasury will be on campus to provide a presentation on what she considers the top 10 graduate attributes she looks for when recruiting students and how to best demonstrate them in your application. Globalisation will come under the spotlight during The University of Queenslands eighth annual Diversity Week celebrations, to be held this year from May 24-28 2010. The theme of Diversity Week 2010 will be Our Global Community. The University invites staff, students, alumni and the wider community to participate in a week of stimulating discussions, awards and other activities to reflect on UQs development in an increasingly globalised world, what directions this might take in the future, and the impact of globalisation on our university community and society.
