Have you got questions in relation to permanent residency through skilled migration? The Department of Immigration and Australian Citizenship (DIAC) is hosting a seminar explaining the process of applying for permanent residency, through general skilled migration. There will be a presentation and then an opportunity for questions and answers afterwards. Please note that this session is presented by the Department of Immigration and Citizenship, and is arranged by Student Services. DIAC apologises for the inconvenience caused by the cancellation of it`s previous workshop scheduled for the 31st May.

The aim of Rhizomes is to provide an opportunity for scholars working within the humanities and social sciences to engage in interdisciplinary dialogue on the theme “Diaspora: Language & Place”. The conference encourages the elaboration of varied perspectives on one or more of the theme areas in the Humanities and Social Sciences in order to explore the connections, continuities and discontinuities that intersect the concepts of Diaspora within other human fields such as language, place, memory, literature or identity.
